1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of mental health and telehealth services provided by Be Very Resilient, PLLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our services, you ("client" or "you") agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.

2. Services Provided
Be Very Resilient offers mental health services, including but not limited to:
• Psychiatric assessments
• Medication management
• Mental health consultations
• Telehealth sessions conducted via HIPAA-compliant platforms
We do not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Attend scheduled appointments or give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations
• Use a secure, private space during telehealth sessions
• Maintain respectful, professional communication

4. Telehealth Consent
By receiving care remotely, you consent to:
• Engage in sessions using secure, HIPAA-compliant video or phone platforms
• Assume responsibility for technology on your end (internet, privacy, etc.)
• Understand that telehealth has limitations compared to in-person care

5. Confidentiality and HIPAA
We protect your health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your information will not be disclosed without your written consent, unless required by law (e.g., imminent harm, court order, mandatory reporting).

6. Fees and Payments
• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged
• We accept the following forms of payment: credit cards, debit cards, cash, and electronic payments via Zelle.
• A late cancellation or no-show fee will apply for appointments missed without a 24-hour notice
• Insurance clients must ensure active coverage and notify us of any changes

7. Communication Policy
• Non-urgent messages may be sent via secure messaging platforms
• We do not offer 24/7 messaging or crisis support
• Calls or texts to the business number are monitored during business hours only

8. Professional Boundaries
We maintain strict professional boundaries. Clients may not initiate personal relationships, gifts, or solicit personal contact with the provider outside the therapeutic context.

9. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to solicit or attempt to hire staff, students, or affiliated professionals of Be Very Resilient for personal business, consultation, or employment during the course of care and for one year following the termination of services.

10. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to discontinue services if:
• You violate the terms of this Agreement
• There is a pattern of missed appointments
• There is evidence of harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior
• Continuation of care is not clinically appropriate

11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. All clinical care is provided in good faith and within the scope of our professional licensing.

12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated via email.

13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
